Recognizing Anderson's Graduates

John Mitchell Belser

Joseph Mitchell Belser, son of Mitchell Belser and K. Belser, graduating from Madison Central High School. Joseph plans to study Biomedical Engineering while pursuing a Pre-Law track at the University of Mississippi. An active usher and Youth Worship Leader at Anderson, Joseph was awarded the Academic Excellence National Recognition Scholarship valued at $16,000. His guiding scripture is Isaiah 6:8.

Cameron Cornelius

Cameron Cornelius, son of Cedric and Sheila Cornelius, graduating from Clinton High School. Cameron will attend the University of Mississippi majoring in General Business on a Pre-Dental track. Cameron’s many accomplishments include National Honor Society, Football Team Captain, Defensive MVP, and Master Entry Level ASE Technician. At Anderson, he faithfully serves through the Usher Ministry, Youth Ministry, Higher Education Ministry, United Methodist Men, and Habitat for Humanity. Cameron reminds us that “Our greatest glory is not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall.”

Benjamin Gaylor

Benjamin Gaylor, son of TyLan Gaylor and Dr. LaFarra Young, graduating from Ridgeland High School. Benjamin plans to attend Tougaloo College and pursue medical school with a focus in Biology. His achievements include MCTC Student of the Year, National HOSA Biomedical Debate advancement, honor roll, UMMC volunteer service, and leadership in HOSA. At Anderson, Benjamin serves through the Higher Education Ministry, Food Pantry, Usher Ministry, Sunday School, Youth Ministry, and Creative Arts Ministry. His favorite scripture is Philippians 2:13.

Joshua Gaylor

Joshua Gaylor, son of TyLan Gaylor and Dr. LaFarra Young, graduating from Ridgeland High School. Joshua will attend Ole Miss and has excelled as a multi-sport varsity athlete, Tennis Player of the Year, Swim State Qualifier, and High Honor Roll student. He faithfully serves Anderson through the Higher Education Ministry, Food Pantry, Sunday School, and Creative Arts Ministry.

Kristopher Gaylor

Kristopher Gaylor, son of Tony and Kristena Gaylor, graduating from St. Joseph Catholic School. Kristopher will attend Southern University Honors College majoring in Biology and Pre-Med. An honor student and varsity baseball pitcher, Kristopher also serves faithfully in Anderson’s Usher Ministry and Men’s Choir. His favorite scripture is Proverbs 3:5-6: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not to your own understanding.”

Joshua Grace

Joshua Grace, son of Edward and Valerie Grace, graduating from Germantown High School. Joshua plans to attend Hinds Community College studying Business Marketing. He has participated in bowling and track and serves through Anderson’s Usher Ministry. His favorite scripture is Philippians 4:13: “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.”

Evan Gray

Evan Gray, son of Cheryl and Jermaine Gray, graduating from Clinton High School. Evan plans to attend Hinds Community College studying Criminal Justice. He is a member of the National Music Honor Society and is connected through Anderson’s Higher Education Ministry. His favorite scripture reminds us that with faith, all things are possible.

Conner Torrey Green

Connor Torrey Green, son of Torrey and Candice Green, graduating from Madison Central High School. Connor plans to attend Holmes Community College before continuing at Mississippi State University in Building Construction Science. Connor has earned technical certifications in electrical work and fiber optics, while also participating in football, leadership clubs, and community service organizations. At Anderson, he serves as a Youth Usher and Door Keeper. His favorite scripture is Romans 12:2.

Jayla Brielle Jackson

Jayla Brielle Jackson, daughter of Dr. Bridget Sallie and Jovarius Jackson, and granddaughter of Robbie and Sonji Johnson, graduating from Madison Central High School. Jayla has maintained a 3.7 GPA while participating in National Honor Society, Powerlifting, JROTC, Bible Club, and Minority Student Union. After graduation, she will enlist in the United States Air Force while pursuing a degree in aviation with dreams of becoming a Combat Fighter Pilot.

McKenzie Jackson

McKenzie Jackson, daughter of Tiwana Jackson, graduating from Ridgeland High School. McKenzie will attend Jackson State University majoring in Biology on a Pre-Veterinary track. She has been a part of the Honors Program and stands on the belief that “You can’t break a woman who gets her strength from God.”

Brookelyn Blanche Johnson

Brookelyn Blanche Johnson, daughter of Shundra Wilson and Frank Johnson, graduating Magna Cum Laude from Jackson Preparatory School. Brookelyn will attend Howard University majoring in Nursing with plans to serve her community through compassionate healthcare. At Anderson, she serves through the Higher Education Ministry and Worship Ministry as a Liturgist. Her favorite scripture is Joshua 1:9: “Be strong and courageous… for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”

Addisyn Love

Addisyn Love, daughter of Tonya and Otto Love Jr., graduating from Clinton High School. Addisyn will attend Ole Miss University as a Luckyday Scholar majoring in Healthcare Administration on a PreMed track. With a 4.0 GPA and numerous scholarships and honors, Addisyn has excelled academically while serving in Youth Choir, Dance Ministry, Communion Stewardship, and as President of the IMAGE Youth Group. Her favorite scripture is Proverbs 31:30.

Condoleeza Mobit

Condoleeza Mobit, daughter of Paul and Edith Mobit, graduating from Madison Central High School. Condoleeza plans to attend Hampton University majoring in Journalism with aspirations of becoming a journalist. At Anderson, she serves through the Communications Ministry and Youth Council leadership.

Arica Phillips

Arica Phillips, daughter of Candice Clark, graduating from Germantown High School. Arica plans to attend Hinds Community College and is guided by Proverbs 16:3: “Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and He will establish your plans.”

Jaden Maurice Moore

Jaden Maurice Moore, son of Reginald and Verkista White, graduating from Terry High School. Jaden plans to attend Hinds Community College studying Engineering. An honors student, Jaden is encouraged by Galatians 6:9.

William Larry

William Larry, son of Kidada Rice-Larry and Stephen Larry, graduating from Ridgeland High School. William plans to attend Holmes Community College studying Art before transferring to Savannah College of Art and Design to pursue Animation. At Anderson, William has served through Higher Education, volunteered with Children’s Ministry, and previously participated in the Children’s Choir.

Kyla King

Kyla King, daughter of Kim and Charles King, graduating from Northwest Rankin High School. Kyla will attend Hinds Community College studying Diagnostic Medical Sonography and Radiology. She has been active in Anderson’s Dance Ministry, Higher Education Ministry, and Girl Scout Troop.

Kaleb Primer

Kaleb Primer, son of Lakisha Primer, graduating from Ridgeland High School. Kaleb plans to attend Hinds Community College before transferring to Mississippi State University studying Information Technology. At Anderson, he serves in the Usher Ministry and Higher Education Ministry. His favorite scripture is Psalm 27:1.

Gabrielle F. Smith

Gabrielle F. Smith, daughter of Esker and Shondra Smith, graduating from Madison Central High School. Gabrielle has excelled academically as an Accelerated Graduate, National Honor Society member, Beta Club member, and Symphonic Band participant. She plans to attend Mississippi State University majoring in Psychology before continuing toward her doctorate degree. Gabrielle has also served through Vacation Bible School and Children’s Ministry at Anderson. Her words of encouragement are: “The best is yet to come, and with God’s guidance anything is possible.”

Jade Kimori Stoker

Jade Kimori Stoker, graduating from Northwest Rankin High School. Jade plans to attend The University of Southern Mississippi majoring in Kinesiology. Jade has received recognition for outstanding ACT performance and participation in Tri-M Society while serving through Anderson’s Usher Ministry. Her favorite quote is: “I trust in the next chapter because I know the author.”

Maurice F. Taylor

Maurice F. Taylor, son of Cleneice Brittenum, graduating from Terry High School. Maurice, also known as Fin, plans to attend Northwest Community College. A National Honor Society recipient, Maurice has served faithfully in the Sunday School Ministry. His favorite scripture is John 3:16.

Jayla Brielle Jackson

Kennedi Alise Stallings

Kennedi Alise Stallings, graduate of Holmes Community College, earning an Associate Degree in Health Sciences. Kennedi plans to continue her journey into Nursing School. At Anderson, she faithfully serves through the Usher Ministry. Her favorite scripture is Colossians 3:17: “And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus.”

R'riuna Moore

R’riuna Moore, graduate of Mississippi State University, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Biological Sciences. R’riuna will continue her education by pursuing a Master’s Degree in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Her favorite scripture is Romans 8:28: “And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God.”

Chloe McKenna Smith

Chloe McKenna Smith, graduate of Mississippi College, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. Chloe plans to continue her studies through graduate school at Mississippi College. At
Anderson, she serves faithfully as a Communion Steward. Her favorite scripture is Jeremiah 29:11.

Adrian Harris

Adrian Harris, graduate of the University of Louisiana Monroe, earning a Doctorate in Physical Therapy with Magna Cum Laude honors. Adrian will begin employment with Dream Big Pediatric Therapies in Franklin, Tennessee. His favorite scripture is Philippians 4:13: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

LaToya Shaw

LaToya Shaw, graduate of Strayer University, earning a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Health Services Administration. LaToya was a member of the Honors Program and
Alpha Chi National College Honor Society and plans to continue into a Doctorate Program. Her favorite quote is: “If there’s one thing I’m willing to bet on, it’s myself.”

Roniah Russell

Roniah Russell, graduate of Jackson State University, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with Magna Cum Laude honors. Roniah will continue her education at the University of Mississippi Medical Center School of Nursing. Her favorite scripture is Psalm 46:5: “God is within her, she will not fall; God will help her at break of day.”

Demi C. Williamson

Demi C. Williamson, graduate of Mississippi State University, learning a Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. A National Honor Society recipient, Demi plans to combine her degree with her Associate Degree in Biology from Hinds Community College as she pursues opportunities in the Research and Health field. Her favorite scripture reminds us: “God is within her, she will not fall.”

Sean Justin Jordan

Sean Justin Jordan, graduate of Mississippi University for Women, learning a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. Sean plans to continue serving as a float nurse at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. He is connected through Anderson’s Young Adult Ministry. His favorite scripture is Lamentations 3:22-23: “The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; His mercies never come to an end.”

Brian Jadrien Jordan

Brian Jadrien Jordan, graduate of Xavier University of Louisiana, learning a Doctorate of Pharmacy. Brian plans to continue his career in retail pharmacy. His favorite scripture is Matthew 5:16: “Let your light shine before men so they will see your good works and glorify the Father in heaven.”

Darion Lewis

Darion Lewis, graduate of East Mississippi Community College, earning a Trade and Technical Certification in Funeral Services. A Dean’s List scholar, Darion plans to continue his education at Jackson State University. His favorite scripture is Psalm 139:14.
